About Staci
I worked as a Deputy Assessor between 2014 and 2022.  My first term as Assessor began January 1, 2023.  I am a Pike County native, living in Kirby with my 2 boys, 3 dogs, and cat.  We are very active in our community and enjoy spending time on the Caddo River and camping at Lake Greeson.

I graduated from Kirby High School in 2000 and went on to Arkansas Tech University.  I have also attended National Park College and John Brown University and I have 2 Associates degrees in Business Administration.

I am currently on the Pike County Housing Authority Board and hold a Level 4 Senior Appraiser certification and continue to learn and grow through education with AACD and IAAO.

What We Do

The office of the Assessor has the following responsibilities to the Citizens of Pike County:

  1. To locate all taxable property in the county and identify ownership.
  2. To establish a taxable value for all real and personal properties subject to taxation
  3. To complete an assessment roll showing the assessed values of all real and personal properties
  4. To apply all legal exemptions and Amendment 79 Homestead Act where applicable

State law mandates that all real and personal properties are subject to taxation unless otherwise exempted. Your property taxes support necessary services provided to the residents of Pike County including law enforcement, fire protection, education, libraries and other vital services.
